Henchmen run out of rezzes?
I've done the search and didnt find any relevant answer, I'm wondering if nonhealer henchmen (Stephan specifically) run out of rezzes?
doing long missions where the healer has died a few times, i find myself having to use my rez signet because none of the other henchmen wil rez her. Is this a bug? Intended? |

I believe that the hechmen (and women) who are non-healers carry resurrection signets like real pvp characters. I've been through missions where all of my henchmen have died and/or i have died and the resurrection timer starts even though one of my henchmen was still alive. So i think their signets follow the same rules as ours do. Only once per mission.

Henchmen have infinite energy and don't seem to suffer Death Penalty, but otherwise, they function pretty much as normal players. Same with enemies.
They take the same amount of time to use skills as players, and to recharge their skills. If you use Diversion on a warrior enemy (or hench, which is feasible during PvP in the tombs or against another guild), and they use Healing Signet, you won't see them using Healing Signet again for a while. If you use Blackout on them, they won't use any skills until it runs out. That being the case, consider Resurrection Signet's recharge timer: non-existant. It never recharges... Except after a mission, and after you gain a morale boost (Saying defeat a boss would be redundant, as that = morale boost). However, since henchmen don't seem to be affected by DP, I doubt they gain Moral Boosts either, meaning no recharge. That may or may not be intended. The ability to ignore Death Penalty is very potent, but it is also said that they have that to deal with their incompetence. However, the same is said for their infinite energy. I'd go with sending an e-mail to find out an official answer if it was an oversight or intended. |

Just an observation M.A. I do believe henchmen suffer from a death penalty. My reason for this is I have seen my poor healer get one-shot numerous times, but this only happens after she has died alot. Never when she hasnt died has she even come close to a one-shot death. But, Im not too bright and I could be wrong =P

It must be the morale boost recharging the signet, because I've had Stephan rez Alesia multiple times in 1 mission.
Im surprised she still groups with me, she dies A LOT :P |

Infinite energy? Are you sure of that, why is it that they struggle to cast anything around mana leaching mobs, or cast less when the fight has lasted a long time. I also agree with Aaaaagh they do seem to suffer from dp.

I don't think they have infinite energy either - if they did, somehow I doubt they'd be using their staves half the time to try and dish out a little damage - they'd keep using their spells instead - I mean, Orion early on loves Flare - if he had inifinite energy he'd use nothing else, inbetween his Firestorm casts. Yet he uses his staff a lot if a fight goes a long time.
Course, could be that's just the way the designers intended the NPC tactics to be, but sure seems like they run out, to me. Edit - I've had a henchie do more than one rez before too, during a mission w/a lot of morale boosts. |

They definately do not have infinite energy.
I don't think they suffer DP, you'd notice in high end instances. Now sure they suck there regardless, but they don't die any faster after dying multiple times there. Positive of ^^^ due to working on Shield of Judgment, having respawned the zone over 20 times, each time having 60DP myself, my henchies still lasted far longer than I. I imagine it is as intended, to reflect the fact not everyone in a normal group is gonna be */mo with rez. |

I use a full group of henchmen all the time and I can assure you, they DO suffer death penalty. You may not notice it after one or two deaths so much, but after you've wiped 4 or five times (I've stubbornly finished many a quest at -60%) Those henchmen start to drop in just a couple hits each. Enter a town and clear your own rez sickness, go back out, and suddenly they are made of steel. (relatively speaking). Oh, and yeah, I've noticed they seem to get a rez each unless you kill a boss. Seems pretty consistant with rez sigs.

Yes they do suffer a DP, can only res once, and I have seen the healers run out of energy.
